SHARKS SOCCER CUP&SHOWCASE

Davie United Soccer Club is pleased to announce and invite your club/teams to participate in the 2024 Sharks Soccer Cup & Showcase. The tournament will be played from April 5-7, 2024. The 2024 Sharks Soccer Cup & Showcase strives to become one of the most competitive tournaments by bringing together a great variety of teams from Region III and beyond. The tournament is for select teams of all ability levels. The Sharks Soccer Cup & Showcase will be a great tournament to add to your spring schedule.

The Sharks Soccer Cup & Showcase is sanctioned by Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) and is open to all US Soccer members (US Club Soccer, AYSO, USSSA).

DATES
The tournament will be played from Saturday, April 6 through Sunday, April 7, 2024. It is possible that local teams will begin playing on Friday, April 5, 2024. 

​

LOCATIONS
The Sharks Soccer Cup & Showcase will be held at Bamford Park, Davie, Central Park, Plantation, and in the City of Coral Springs, FL.

LEVELS OF PLAY

​

SHOWCASE: U15-U16-U17-U19 Age Group Brackets
The highest level of competition. Teams that compete regionally and nationally. Top Division I teams from across Florida, out-of-state, and international teams are expected to participate making this a highly competitive division.

​

GOLD: U9-U19 Single Age Group Brackets
High-level Division I teams from across Florida, out-of-state, and international teams are expected to participate making this a highly competitive event at the Gold Divisions.

​

SILVER: U9-U19 Single Age Group BracketsDivision II teams. Teams from across Florida are expected to participate in the Silver Divisions.

​

BRONZE: U9-U19 Single Age Group Brackets
Bronze Division is primarily for recreational teams and new travel teams seeking comparative competition.

​

U9 Future Stars (U8 Teams): The U9 Future Stars division is set up for U8 teams only. Note that the U9 Future Stars will play under the U9 rules.

​

U11 (U10 9v9 Division): U10 teams and players preparing for 9v9 soccer for the 2023/2024 season. Please note the U11 (U10 9v9 Division) will play under the U11 rules as noted in the Tournament Rules and the registration fee will be the standard U11 fee ($825.00).

U13 (U12 11v11 Division): U12 teams and players preparing for 11v11 soccer for the 2023/2024 season. Please note that the U13 (U12 11v11 Division) will play under the U13 rules as noted in the Tournament Rules and the registration fee will be the standard U13 fee ($900.00 per team).

 

All applications must be approved by the tournament committee.

Registration deadline March 15, 2024 ($50.00 increase in registration fee after March 15, 2024)

All teams must register online. Teams may pay by credit card online. Teams/clubs wishing to pay by check should make their check payable to Davie United Soccer Club, note the registration number on the check memo line, and have a copy of the e-mail entry confirmation. Checks made payable to "Davie United Soccer Club" then mailed and addressed to:

• Make payment either via credit card or by check. No applications will be considered or accepted without payment.

• Teams will not be eligible for acceptance until the registration fee is received.

• Any team not accepted will receive a refund.

• Any team that withdraws after the March 15, 2024 application deadline will not be eligible for a refund.

 

ENTRY FEE 

$800.00 for U9 and U10 (playing 7 v 7)
$875.00 for U11 and U12 (playing 9 v 9)
$975.00 for U13 and U14 (playing 11 v 11)

$1025.00 for U15 and older (playing 11 v 11)

Registration fee INCLUDES the referee fees. Entry fees received after the deadline of March 15, 2024, will automatically incur an additional $50.00 late fee.

 

TOURNAMENT FORMAT 
Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games.

​

U9 and U10 teams play 7-a-side and may carry up to 12 players with 4 guest players allowed
U11 and U12 teams play 9-a-side and may carry up to 16 players with 5 guest players allowed
U13 to U19 teams play 11-a-side and may carry up to 22 players on their roster with 6 guest players allowed
