Davie United Soccer Friendlies

Davie United Soccer Club is pleased to announce and invite your club/teams to participate in the 2023 Davie United Soccer Friendlies. The tournament will be played on August 25-27, 2023. The tournament is for select teams of all ability levels. The Davie United Soccer Friendlies will be a great kick-off for the 2023-24 season.

 

The Davie United Soccer Friendlies is sanctioned by Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) and is open to all US Soccer members (US Club Soccer, AYSO, USSSA).

DATES
The tournament will be played from Saturday, August 26 through Sunday, August 27. Local teams may be asked to play on Friday, August 25.

LOCATIONS
The Davie United Soccer Friendlies is held in the Town of Davie. The main site in Davie is Bamford Park.

LEVELS OF PLAY

​

U9 Future Stars (U8 Teams): The U9 Future Stars division is set up for U8 teams only. Note that the U9 Future Stars will play under the U9 rules.

GOLD: U9-U14 Single Age Group Brackets
High-level Division I teams from across Florida, out-of-state, and international teams are expected to participate in making this a highly competitive event at the Gold Divisions.

SILVER: U9-U14 Single Age Group Brackets
Silver Division is for Division 2 and competitive Division 2 travel teams. Silver 1 and Silver 2 divisions may be created to allow appropriate competition if the number of applications at a certain level allows it. Teams from Florida, out-of-state, and international teams are expected to participate in the Silver Divisions.

BRONZE: U9-U14 Single Age Group Brackets
Bronze Division is primarily for recreational teams and new travel teams seeking comparative competition.

 

All applications must be approved by the tournament committee.

All teams must register online. Teams may pay by credit card online. Teams/clubs wishing to pay by check should make their check payable to Davie United Soccer Club, note the registration number on the check memo line, and have a copy of the e-mail entry confirmation. Checks made payable to "Davie United Soccer Club" then mailed and addressed to:

• Make payment either via credit card or by check. No applications will be considered or accepted without payment.

• Teams will not be eligible for acceptance until the registration fee is received.

• Any team not accepted will receive a refund.

• Any team that withdraws after the application deadline of August 16, 2023, will not be eligible for a refund.

 

ENTRY FEE 
$475.00 for U9 and U10 (playing 7 v 7)
$550.00 for U11 and U12 (playing 9 v 9)

$625.00 for U13 and U14 (playing 11 v 11)

Registration fee INCLUDES the referee fees. Entry fees received after the deadline of August 14, 2023, will automatically incur an additional $50.00 late fee.

 

TOURNAMENT FORMAT 
Each team is guaranteed a maximum of 4 games. There is no declaration or determination of a champion and finalist. The guaranteed matches are in preparation for the upcoming season. 

 

U9 and U10 teams play 7-a-side and may carry up to 12 players with 4 guest players allowed

U11 and U12 teams play 9-a-side and may carry up to 16 players with 5 guest players allowed

U13 and U14 teams play 11-a-side and may carry up to 22 players with 6 guest players allowed
