Meet Giuseppe Weller
Widely considered the top Goalkeeper Coach in Florida, Giuseppe Weller is the Goalkeeper Program Director for Davie United Soccer Club and is the Owner/ President of NT2D Goalkeeping Academy.
Weller’s resume and qualifications are backed by years of training and licenses/ diplomas obtained through the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), Goalkeeping Institute, and the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).
Born and raised in Vicenza, Italy, Weller played for F.I.G.C. San Bortolo Fiamma, a local club before being offered a professional contract at the age of 14 as a US goalkeeper with Cesena in 1983. He is a highly regarded goalkeeper trainer in the South Florida area, and is responsible for training goalkeepers at all levels, from the U09 age up to the professional field in both the men’s and women’s sides. Weller has ties to goalkeepers currently playing with the Women’s US Soccer National Team, and is currently working as the goalkeeper coach for Nova Southeastern University Men’s & Women’s Soccer programs and Miami FC.
Since 2012, Weller has continued to attend and receive guidance with goalkeeper training from the Montreal Impact First Team and Ottawa Fury Goalkeeper Coach Youssef Dahha and from the Goalkeeper Academy. He also received private training with Vicenza Calcio under the eye of Goalkeeper Coach Enzo Biaggio. Furthermore, Weller continues to receive guidance from top level coaches, such as Phil Wheddon, Eric Steele, and Andrew Sparkes. His accolades include:
