Adult Over 45 11v11 Divisional Info

Davie United Soccer Club, Inc. (DUSC) is pleased to present the sport of soccer of Adult Leagues for the local South Florida community. Davie United Soccer Club encourages fair play and understands that competing teams and players are not professional athletes. Our aim is to provide an array of great, competitive, fun leagues for the local community to participate in while utilizing the great facilities on offer to us.

Before registering to compete in one of our leagues, please read the below and understand what you are registering for. Below are generic rules, each league may have different rules outlined.

Davie United Soccer Club is a ZERO (0) TOLERANCE Adult League with regards to violent conduct. Fighting, punching, slapping, spitting, violent behavior, racism, which includes verbal threats and abusive language will not be acceptable behavior (towards referees, participants or game observers). If an offense of this magnitude happens prior, during or after a game in Bamford Park, the player(s) in question will be removed from the the Adult League system and not allowed back to participate in ANY of the Davie United Soccer Club's Adult League Divisions with NO chance to ever return (hence, the ZERO (0) TOLERANCE).

No refund will be given for games missed because of player(s) removal.

We encourage and applaud the practice of respect, common courtesy and good will in the spirit of the game. Participants are amongst peers who all share a common goal of having fun in a positive safe environment.

All players must individually register online in the SQWAD app. Any player who does not complete the registration process will not be considered a member of the league.

Each player must provide the below before approval to participate is granted.

  1. Payment in full.

  2. A headshot uploaded in their account.

  3. Proof of age/identification; drivers license, passport etc. Identification to be uploaded in the SQWAD App. Players must be age verified in the SQWAD App before approved to play in the league.

  4. A player must carry their picture ID with them to all games. If the ID is requested by an official it must be presented. Failure to provide the picture ID will result in the player not being permitted to participate in the game. Photocopies of ID’s are not accepted.

Any requests for refunds will be denied one week prior to the beginning of the first scheduled league game.

11v11 teams carry a minimum of sixteen (16) registered players. No maximum on amount of players per team.

  • Minimum of 7 players must be on the field for the game to count.

Rosters are frozen at 5:00 PM the Thursday before scheduled games. If a player is not on the game card they are not permitted to participate in the game.

Players may NOT be added to rosters with four (4) pool play games to play on the schedule. Teams are not permitted to add players to their rosters at this point in the season.

Players are permitted to move between teams while a team is still competing in the season however, players cannot move from team to team once the rosters are frozen.

A maximum of three players can leave a team throughout the course of the Winter and Spring season. A team can only add three players from other teams within the league throughout the course of the Winter and Spring season.

Each Adult League Division will have both the Davie United Soccer Club Executive Director  &  Adult League Director who will serve as the person of contact for Team Captains and the point person for the Davie United Soccer Club Board of Directors.

Each team must designate a Team Captain and better yet, a Co-Team Captain. Each team is permitted a maximum of two Captain's/Coaches. The Team Captain(s) must identify them self to the League Directors prior to the first game via an email to There will be a Captain’s Meeting prior to the first weekend of games to go over roles, responsibilities and expectations. During this meeting, any proposals for possible new rules can be discussed. Once rules are understood and agreed upon, NO changes to any rules during the season will be made. A communication will be sent to notify of date, time and location (usual done via a video chat meeting).

Captains are responsible to be the leaders of the Davie United Soccer Club divisions and are counted upon to carry out and demonstrate positivity amongst their respective teams/players.

Captains are responsible for registering as a "COACH" for their respective team in the SQWAD app (this serves as a second registration, and is FREE). By doing so, it is the Captains job to make certain each of their rostered registered players has their uniform/jersey number assigned matching the team roster upon the app, along with the players profile picture and players information is correct. If it is discovered that a Captain allowed a non-rostered player or a knowingly illegal player to participate in an Adult League match, the Captain will be sanctioned and suspended from the League.

There will be two seasons within the league, a Fall Season and a Spring Season. Each season teams will play in a Pool Play format before entering Playoffs. A Champion will be crowned in both the Fall Season and Spring Season with a Championship game being played between the winners of each season called the SUPER CUP. If the same team wins both the Fall Season and Spring Season, they are automatically crowned the SUPER CUP League Champion and a Championship game is not required.

PLAYOFFS: (Top 8 Teams qualify)

Single elimination games in which teams are seeded based on Pool Play standings. The top eight (8) teams at the culmination of the League Games will be placed into the Playoffs, which will be considered a Quarter Final and Semi Final followed by a Championship game. As the league grows we will consider adding more teams to the Playoffs.

If a team withdraws or dissolves and is no longer able to participate in the league, all games that were previously played and all games scheduled will be resulted as a 4-0 victory for the opposing team.

All forfeit wins are considered 4-0 games and the team that forfeits the game loses two points from their points tally.

The Davie United Soccer Club Board of Directors will utilize the club Referee Assignor to assign officials for all games.

11v11: One (1) Center official and two (2) assistant officials.

Fees for officials are included in the registration fee and will be paid for by Davie United Soccer Club. No money is to be given to the official’s prior, during or after games.

The Center Officials will carry the game cards on their phones in the SQWAD App. The Game Cards/Reports will have teams rosters, the date, field and kick off time.

The Center Official will check in each player prior to the beginning of the game. The referee will check each player on the roster, identification, player equipment and go over any rules that may be unclear. Only players on the Game Card are permitted to participate in the game.

At any point the Center Official can request identification from any player. If it is not presented the player will not be permitted to participate in the game.

At the culmination of the game the Team Captain and Center Official will sign the Game Card to show agreement of the score, goal scorers and any cautions or comments that the Center Official may want to make.

Davie United Soccer Club expects all players to act in a grown up, mature, responsible manner. The highest levels of Sportsmanship are required. Under no circumstances will foul or abusive language to game officials, opponents, teammates or supporters be tolerated. Players should set an example to those watching on the sidelines and be role models for one another.

RED / YELLOW / CARDS:An accumulation of five (5) yellow cards over the course of the league season will result in a one game suspension. Following the fifth (5th) yellow card a one game suspension will be awarded after every second yellow card. For example, after the 7th, 9th and 11th yellow card etc. a one game suspension will be sanctioned to the player. Should a player pick up their fifth yellow card in the final pool play game of the season before Play Offs, that player must serve their suspension in the first Play Off game should their team progress to that stage.

A straight red card means a player is dismissed from the game, no re-entry into the game and nor shall the team be able to substitute a player in to replace the dismissed player. This player must leave the bench and field area before the game will resume. The team will play with one (1) less player for the remainder of the match. A straight red card is an automatic two (2) game suspension. A red card for Abusive Language towards an officials is an automatic four (4) game suspension. The suspension always starts with the next game on the teams schedule. If a player receives a red card in the final league game prior to Playoffs, the player in question will not be permitted to play the Playoff games until the suspension is served. Two (2) yellow cards culminating in a red card meets with a one (1) game suspension. Three (3) red cards in the same season results in a player being suspended for the remainder of the season.

As stated prior on this webpage as DUSC RULE #1, Davie United Soccer Club is a ZERO (0) TOLERANCE Adult League with regards to violent conduct. Fighting, punching, slapping, spitting, violent behavior, racism, which includes verbal threats and abusive language will not be acceptable behavior (towards referees, participants or game observers).

Games will kick off on the scheduled time. Any team that does not have the sufficient number of players for a game will forfeit the game. There will be a 10-minute grace period from the scheduled kick off time for a team to provide the sufficient number of players. If the sufficient number of players turn up after the allotted time, the teams can still play the game providing both teams agree to play however, the forfeit will still stand. The officials are not obligated to stay and officiate the game once a forfeit has been determined.

Each team must provide its own matching uniform, jersey, shorts and socks. The players jersey must have a visible number on the back side of it. The Players jersey number must match the game card on the SQWAD app which the referee uses to verify the players eligibility to participate.

If there is a color clash between two teams, the team listed as the away team on the schedule must provide a different uniform that does not clash with the team listed as the home team.

For uniforms, visit our adult DUSC adult uniform shop. Colors of the kits can be altered from the red kits featured; team logos and names can be added.

If a defending player slides to the ground and impedes, or interferes with another player with or without the ball— this is a slide tackle foul. Whether intentional or unintentional.

The aggression and severity of the slide tackle is at the referees discretion. No card, Yellow card or Red card. All slide tackle fouls that are not yellow or red cards whether given inside or OUTSIDE the penalty box are INDIRECT free kicks.

If a player slides and does not interfere with another player, by way of impeding the opponent, making the opposing player have to change their direction, making contact with the player, or etc., and there is no clear offense or danger to what slide the defending player did––no slide tackle foul is given.

If a YELLOW or RED card is declared on a slide tackle in the penalty box area—a PENALTY KICK will be awarded. If a slide tackle is ruled but is considered to be harmless --it is just an indirect Free Kick.

If a player is found to have any of these rules broken, they will be immediately removed from the match until proper gear is displayed to the referee to re-enter the game.

Any cancellations due to weather or changes in schedule will be communicated to the team Captain's via the Captain's What's App chat.

11v11 games are 45 mins halves and 10 minute half times. All games are considered official once we get to the 65th minute. If a game is cancelled after the 65th minute for any reason, forfeit, adverse weather, the game is considered official. If a game does not make it to the 66th minute of play, the club will look to reschedule the game to an agreed upon date and time from both team captains. Goal scored, yellow cards and red cards (unless it is a red card worthy of expulsion from the league) will be rescinded and not count towards the current season.

In Play Off games, if the same situation arises where the game is cancelled once we get to the 65th minute for any reason, forfeit, adverse weather, the game is considered official. If the game is a tie game, 0-0, 1-1, 2-2 etc., the higher seed team will be the team that advances to the next round and the lower seed team will be eliminated.

In the event a game is rescheduled the club will look to reschedule the game as soon as possible. The rescheduled game will start from minute zero (0) and the score will start as 0-0.

If a player is deemed to not meet the league requirements, i.e. the player is actually underage for the league but has been participating in the league. The team that the player has been playing on will forfeit ALL games per the forfeit rule, dated from when the player registered into the league, not whether they participated in a game or not. Additionally, both the ineligible player and the captain of the team will be removed from the league and not permitted to return.

If a player who is not registered in the league is found to have played in a game the team will forfeit each game per the forfeit rule. Additionally, the captain of the team will be removed from the league and not be permitted to return.

Any protests and/or grievances will be made in writing and sent to If the protest/grievance is the result of an incident in a game, the protest/grievance must be filed within 36 hours from the scheduled kick off time of the game. Any game protests/grievances received after this time frame will not be accepted.

The Davie United Soccer Club Board of Directors will have the final determination for all protests and/or grievances. Once a determination is made it is final and no appeal will be accepted.
