Together with the Town of Davie, Davie United SC is proud to announce the dates for this year’s Summer Goalkeeper Camp 2026!

CAMP INFORMATION

The DUSC Goalkeeper Camp is a day camp for boys and girls of any level. Your child will work lead Coach Daniel Montiagut with a team of coaches on the fundamentals of goalkeeping.

 

Daniel Montiagut is one of South Florida's most respected goalkeeper coaches and a key figure in the development of elite youth soccer in the region. Born and raised in Barcelona, Spain, Daniel grew up immersed in professional football culture, which shaped his deep technical understanding of the game from an early age. He was a goalkeeper himself, experiencing firsthand the demands and intricacies of the position before dedicating his career to coaching it at the highest level.

 

Role at Davie United SC

As Director of Goalkeeping at Davie United SC, Daniel is responsible for designing and implementing a complete goalkeeper development curriculum across all ages and levels — from the Foundation Phase for young players all the way through the Men's 1st team competing in the UPSL. He simultaneously serves as Head Coach for the ECNL RL U17 and U18 squads. His 2009 Boys team received the prestigious RIA Award as the Best Team in the Nation in 2025 — a landmark achievement that reflects the quality and consistency of his coaching work.

CEO & Founder — B-A Goalie Elite Goalkeeper Academy

Beyond his club responsibilities, Daniel is the CEO and Founder of B-A Goalie Elite Goalkeeper Academy — a specialized training program built on European high-performance principles, tailored to the competitive American youth landscape. B-A Goalie is not a recreational camp: it is a structured, methodical, and demanding experience designed to produce real, measurable improvement in every goalkeeper who participates.

 

Coaching Philosophy

Daniel's methodology is built on three pillars: technical precision, mental resilience, and total player development. He believes the best goalkeepers are made through thousands of intentional repetitions, honest feedback, and an unwavering commitment to growth. His sessions are demanding yet positive — every player leaves knowing exactly what they improved and what still needs work.

WHAT TO BRING?

Goalkeeper Gloves, soccer ball, soccer cleats/shoes, shin guards, enough water/gatorade for the 2 hours and snacks. Please apply sunblock before arrival but please bring it with you also.
