Meet Leo Vega
The 2026/27 season will be Leo's 16th year as the Technical Director at Davie United SC. With over 35 years of youth soccer leadership experience, "el poeta" brings a level of knowledge that is unmatched in South Florida.
A native of Uruguay, Leo is a former professional player with Penarol in Uruguay and also a commentator for Inter Miami CF and former ESPN Deportes radio show host.
A sports broadcast professional, Leo provides expert analysis and context during live events, working alongside the main play-by-play announcer.
At Davie United SC, Leo holds the position of Technical Director - Boys Program.
As the Technical Director - Boys Program, Leo is responsible for the implementation of the development curriculum through his coaching and support staff.
